I never thought Jessica was funny. I don't know Phoebe at all. I don't know any Black women who act like them or thirst/date over white men.

They are a subset of Black Twitter that got put on due to their humor catering to White people and White men.

I listen to their podcast when I'm cleaning the crib, on the train or scrolling through social media and I mean, it's cool like I like seeing black women in an abstract and comedic light. However, there's a lot of yt shyt that I just don't be vibing with. Like they can go in on just talking about yt men, pink dack and gawking over the yt men in the audience for a solid fifteen minutes and it's too much at times. Nonetheless, I'll give it a watch when I have the time.

I always see it on the top rated podcast list so I was bored and gave it a chance, IT SUCKS BALLS. The few minutes I gave them before giving up completely were them ranting and raving about the goodness of white men, a completely boring uber tale, and commercials. I am not impressed at all

I really enjoy this podcast, but Pheeb’s obsession over white men can be so cringey. I know it’s part of the shtick, but it’s a little weird how much it fixated on that.

wish it was just phoebe and jessica talking but their obsessing with white dudes is really annoying. I really liked the episode with jon stewart when he was praising jessica like damn.. we all need a jon in our lives

All of this. This is so far removed from my experiences as a blk woman. But people think we all one entity so it's whatever. Black women in my circle don't even know what a "zaddy" is. Nearly every blk chick on my Discord is married and streams shyt like Overwatch or into stuff like homesteading, and creating businesses. The entire world is out of touch with millions of blk women. A lot of our own men don't even know who the hell we are. This just ain't our culture.

It could just be gender confirmation bias b/c in the media I see TONS more bm/anything but blk woman pairings than blk women with non-blk men. And it's been that way for years.

The IRR in film disparity has actually been well established by multiple empirical studies. BW/WM coupling is actually way over represented in flim in comparison to it's real life representation while the BM/WW coupling is under represented. And though these deal with movies and tv shows, it's still pretty relevant.

For instance, did you know that BW/WM couples are more than twice as represented in movies as BM/WW couples despite being outnumbered more than 2:1 in real life? This comes straight from a website that complied all of the interracial couples in TV/movies up to 2015. If that's not a sign of the deliberate systematic propagandized attempt to celebrate and embellish white males as the ideal man then I don't know what is.
