They REALLY were about it. It's just that their power was exaggerated. They were really about that action though. They were linked to plenty of homicides and attempted homicides. Alot of folks were killed behind the Top6 beef. And you even had homicides connected to Top6 happen AFTER that episode of Gangland was aired. One of the former members who was set to testify against the leader of Top6, was gunned down in a parking lot like a week or a couple days before the trial. Some of the homicides connected to Top6 happens outside of Palm Beach county. One member was gunned down 3hrs North in Orlando. He thought he fled that life, and they caught him slipping in another part of Florida. So they WERE about that life, they just weren't this all-powerful drug syndicate. They sold their little coke and pills, and weed that fueled their foray into recording and selling actual professional packaged CD's for their Hip-Hop group, but it wasn't anything more spectacular than what the average Palm Beach drug crew was doing/did.I really thought they were about it.

For example in one episode you would have the narrator saying this gang is the most dangerous gang then in a distant episode in that SAME CITY he would say another gang was the most dangerous gang.
Not only that but they would use outdated ass info and you can tell the show was made for whites as every single slang even the simple ones had to have translations.
