But he said its nikkas up there, gangs and shyt. And everybody got a gun on them, literally everyone cause the gun laws aint shyt out there. They got a nice lil hip hop scene out there too

Nah this is everywhere.
I don't why, but bloods tend to let anybody in, while crips tend to only recruitnikkas, or at least make you do some real sociopath shyt to get in.

Me and my co-worker, who's lived in Mission his whole life, were cracking up at that. Mission has always had Nortenos and Surenos going at it, even after the Hipsters took over the neighborhood. I think they had a killing or two one year between a couple Biker gangs, might have been Hell's Angels, so they had some segment on that and rand with it.

I don't know how people were buying into his bullshyt about being reformed. He was getting some awards for "community service" before he got sentenced to life for murder.

I never watched much, it's way too stylized, glamorized, and designed for people with no real knowledge or experience, or even desire to learn about those sub cultures. It's just entertainment for fools. I always had to laugh at how they would characterize the gangs actions...
