Are we going to pretend (a) "Nerd" and "Geek" aren't the predecessors / direct equivalents of "Educated Lame" trope. (b) the black community is responsible for the archetype in which the educated are perceived as inept, awkward and hideous outcasts?? (c) that Asian (men specifically), despite their economic wealth and resources, are perceived as less dominant and assertive (translation, lame). The same group which prioritizes education bar none other. Is that the black community at work? (d) there aren't cultural differences between black and non blacks: through which arise stereotypes, hinged on racist and bigoted undertones. Nonetheless there those who see their education as social currency to differentiate themselves from "other" blacks. Hence the emergence of the term "nikka Nerd". There have been black people involved in games, movies, media and academia. However, those who try to alienate or minimize their blackness out of shame or hate as means to flourish in non-white dominated spaces are mocked.
