I think most modern tvs will have digital tuners, but if a person bought a low end Black Friday / cyber Monday deal tv, they might be in for a rude awakening tomorrow.

All the flat screens have a built in digital tuner. Simply hook up an antenna to the back and do a channel scan. All your local channels- ABC, FOX, NBC, CBS, PBS,etc are free and in HD with the help of a screw in antenna. Even the old school antenna work
