Your mistaken if you think it's just nerdy smarks who want to see some new blood step up. They should be able to project this current roster as something important and worthwhile to watch. Even before Taker/Rock/Lesnar were part-timing they stopped focus on the entire roster for a select few and as you could see last night there was barely any crowd reaction for most matches except like 2. So with all that they still failed besides drawing a big gate.What do you think a company is more interested in... who'll draw money at their biggest show of the year, or who's liked by people who half the time ain't paying for shyt and will probably complain anyway?![]()
But WrestleMania sells itself. They did like 900K buys and big gates without any huge names. And they could do even more if they took care of their current talent instead of worrying about one night records.
It's treading on WCW territory with no long term planning and cash grabs for quick success.
