Because Revis won't be here long term. We already know he plays year to year...were way far out from competing for a title. Moving on completely from him would be in our best interest. Let Bowles and Maccagnan build it from the ground up via the draft.

See, I totally disagree with that. True, I think the Jets will probably finish 4th this year, but no team is way out of competing for a title. Teams reguarly go from worst to first in the NFL. The only teams that are consistently bad are the teams with poor upper management/ownership.

We have poor ownership. Teams go from worst to first when they find a QB. Maybe we take Mariotta and turns into a stud?

I simply don't get why those who more often than not hate running qbs suddenly are enamored by a guy who when his first read is taken, his mobility, NOT his eyes, gets him to his second read.

We'll have Mo and Sheldon for a while. That's the nucleus. Hopefully Mcdougle recovers and Pryor doesn't suck.

And fwiw I don't really like either QB prospect all that much.
