Because good QB's dont need elite receivers to be successful. We'll know if we have a good QB regardless of who the receivers are. Geno isnt a turnover machine because we have average to below average wr's...he's a turnover machine because he stinks. Same was true with Sanchez.

Sanchez had weapons and Chip last year and still sucked.

What qb is succeeding without very good-elite receiving weapons? Lol.

Trade a Mid Round Pick for Marshall, hell see if they would be interested in Kerley.

Marshall
Harvin
Decker

Brady has throughout his career. WIlson's throwing to UDFA's. Lucks's receivers are meh besides Hilton. Roethlisberger...put Antonio Brown on the Jets and we'd still be bytching about lack of weapons.

Figured Gurley in the second...

Geno isnt the answer anyways, but sure if Cooper is there take him.
We shouldn't take him in either round.. Ivory was good last year and adding spiller to the backfield will only make it better.

But whoever plays QB for Philly will have something to work with and that won't hurt at all. What you don't want is having to waste years off your QB because you waited Til he got there to surround him with offensive talent. It's not as if the Jets know how to find offensive gems late or in free agency

Good QB's give you 10-15 years...I wouldn't worry about wasting them tbh. Are Lucks years being wasted right now because his o-line blows?

Brady was good with those average receivers years ago.. He's below average when Gronk isn't playing. With Luck, Dwayne Allen is a very good receiving TE and Moncrief is steadily improving. And Brown is a top 3 WR in the league. Putting him on the Jets would definitely make the offense brother

Not arguing it wouldnt make it better...but I dont think we need to reach on receivers in the draft because we need to have a ready made offense in place for when we find a QB. The NFL is so heavily tilted to finding that position nowadays...we really just rearranging furniture in the meantime.
