In late game situations when it was a one possession game and Bills needed a score to win, Fitz would throw a pick or a duck that hit the turf on 4th down

How many one possession games were the Jets in last year.

That Denver game where we were down 4 on our own 3 yard line with :50 seconds left in the game as we trotted out Nelson, Kerley, Salas & Cumberland, big time playmakers, to take us downfield.....I left before the inevitable Geno int.

shyt was hopeless

Just off the losses alone 7, my point is that I would not trust Fitz to win or tie a game on the last drive of the game, I've seen too many :smh: picks and bad throws from him in his Bills days

Fitz blows. Just statistically not as bad as Geno does. And with our defense being projected to be very good, you go with the guy who sucks less. And also the guy that managed to not get his jaw broken.

You go from they both suck to who sucks less. Since when have teams gone to the older qb with equal stats to a guy 10 years younger and had an 85 QBR in 6 out of his last 8 games? Who does that? Like seriously...there's no end game with keeping Fitz as the starter. We are not on the cusp of going to the super bowl where Fitz would take is over the top

Geno is hurt though. At this point nothing matters until he gets healthy. If Fitz blows he'll get his shot. But the narrative that Geno's been anything other than terrible over the last two years is false.

Yes....he had two bad years, one where he shouldn't have seen the field, the second where he clearly played better. But you close the door on the NFLs 3rd youngest qb for the certain failure.

That will never make sense to me and pretty much spells a bias

Yall dudes still going back and forth about fitz and geno :dead:
For me it's about Fitz vs Common sense. I don't care what the team, if you aren't a player away from the super bowl, what sense does it make to go with the older guy with the same numbers? Where does that make sense to no one else but Jets fans or those who quickly dismiss black qbs as having zero ceiling?

Russell Wilson has the potential to be one of the best ever, so please quit with the black stuff.

Russell Wispon plays for a better team and is a generational talent. Why compare the 70 +qbs in the NFL to an anomaly?

It still doesn't explain away the older certainly over the younger guy mentality you're on. Makes no sense.

And no...I'm not "quiting" the obvious attitudes white fans have towards black qbs you're oblivious to

If we just took Bridgewater over Calvin "horizontal angle" Pryor we'd be in much better shape. He's black too.
