History is being rewritten.... The power lies in youth, and granted when we were kids.... All we had was the Xmen and Spidey and etc movies and cartoons back then.


But now we are adults and these new kids, what they are seeing and have saw over the last few years is Avengers Avengers Avengers!!

Plus that partnership with Disney and the DXD access. Dude these cats don't give a damn about the Xmen. Prolly can't name 3 Xmen after Wolverine, Xavier , and Magneto and Magneto ain't even an Xmen!

Naw man, the focus has changed, we old, we.... You are stuck to the ways of the past 80's and 90's. The Avengers "machine" is as strong as it's ever been and will only get stronger.

I never liked Captin America or Thor, Ironman was always the real draw for me. But lets face it the Spiderman and Xmen movies were ass, while they still gross because of their popularity the flicks are terrible and thats one of the main things The Avengers have, decent movies.

The avengers will never surpass xmen in popularity. They WERE ALWAYS a b-squad, and WILL ALWAYS be a B-squad. As soon as X-Men were created they took a back seat. They ARE JUST BETTER and Avengers are a collection of guys not strong enough to hold their own.

SPIDERMAN will ALWAYS be more popular than captain america and ironman. One is a boyscout soldier on permenant steriods. The other is a rich man. NONE are as relateable as teenage troubled no-parent spiderman. He WILL ALWAYS be the face of their brand and be the franchise.

They can pump out movie after movie, they can retcon and focus on the avengers in comics, but spiderman and the xmen will always be TOP DOGS in marvel.

It's not really a matter of "fault" as it is reality or timing.

Super hero movies are now bigger and more popular than ever and the Avengers pretty the face of this era.

I mean think back then, those other movies in their on era came out and it was damn near like the only movie of it's kind with no competition. Over the last 9 years or so we been getting like 3-5 comic book movies a year and some only weeks apart.

shyt has just exploded and the current characters (and actors) are just riding the wave.

I mean let's be real, if cats had a choice right now to be apart of something, do you really think they would pick Xmen/Spider-Man over the Avengers??

Hell cats in the X and Spidey franchises themselves wanna be attached to The Avengers... Lol
