The only reason the lead ballooned out because JR and Shumpert are better players/3-pt shooters than the Bulls supporting cast. This is why you NEED better players. Not relying on Niko, Brooks, Kirk and Snell to do shyt - limited talent/ability units featuring those players will always be exposed.
If you don't realize that you need more scoring on the floor then I don't know what to tell you. Cavs were hot, but how were the Bulls going to score with Noah and Kirk on the floor? It's really not hard to understand.
Brooks wasn't hurting them either, he could have let Brooks and Rose run some to get more spacing/scoring on the floor. If you can run a backcourt with Kirk and Brooks why not Rose and Brooks?
