breh, that's my point

this is the best offensive team "on paper" Chicago has filled in year - cmon you're arguing just for the sake of it.

Mirotic is a rookie but has played professionally, minutes didn't need to be staggered
why isn't Snell playing

Thibs isn't using Gasol right at all - put him in the post and let him work. 80% of the time he's not even running plays through him. Bulls offense is lifeless...all the player breakdown is uncessary, Thibs offense stinks and always has. This team should not be having scoring droughts with 3 allstars, MVP of the Euroleague, and young shooters.

\\
was it agian the Bucks where we had like 3 straigth 24 second clock violations - that only comes when teams literally know your offense/ Game 2, they were swarming Gasol and Thibs never made a fukkin adjustment on offense, could have a some high lower action going with Gasol as he was being doubled and swarmed. Not trying to be a couch-coach but fukk man - this is Thibs last stand IMO, it's frustrating because we are winning and we should be happy but the product isn't fun, exciting, and isn't brining in the Championships (like the Spurs).

:mjlol: at this nonsense. Yeah Mirotic's minutes didn't need to be staggered - yet he's shytting the bed in this series because he's not ready. The fact that this is Chicago's best offensive squad on paper since Thibs has been coach, should spell out it all out for you.

Sign a 34-year-old big man who's on his last legs as the only notable player acquisition and expect that to be enough for a coach to win a title brehs.

you're probably right, but that's not what happened and even without Rose we should have been better than a 1st round exit. Thibs is better than Vinny and Skiles but he's has enough flaws on offensive that makes him expendable. His total ineptness on offense is atrocious and an insult to basketball.
:merchant:

These have been the playoff lineups over the last two seasons:

Robinson/Hinrich
Belinelli
Butler (role player version)
Boozer
Noah

Hinrich/Augustin
Butler (role player version)
Dunleavy
Boozer
Noah

Those lineups are lottery status. :dead: at expecting Thibs to take those teams on a deep playoff run.

When Rose has been healthy - the Bulls offense has been top 10 in the league. You can't have a bunch of shytty offensive players and then expect the team to be anything but shytty.

Breh, we can haggle back and forth - those lineups aren't lottery though - in no world. We typically act like the Bulls have no players - well some of us do - we were making the playoffs with Gordon and Deng (whom you seemingly forgot to add) as our top guys. (you also disregarded the bench during those times but again it doesn't fit your argument so I understand why)

Like I said Thibs has done a good job, tapping out his guys and making them play hard and play defense - but the offense has been a hindrance and this isn't football - you need offense to win games.

breh, Mirotic is a stretch 4 and isn't being allowed to stretch defenses. You also are misplacing cause and effect, like cause he's playing bad in the playoffs he should have had his minutes staggered in the regular season. You're backwards logic make it harder to have a decent discussion. If you really think this team doesn't have the best offensive players in Thibs era then there's nothing left to be said, because you don't know Chicago basketball.

Let's end the argument, what was Thibs best offensive Bull's team -

Mirotic has been inconsistent all throughout the season, he needed his minutes staggered. Even though he's been a pro for a while, he's still a rookie. You don't throw rookies into the deep end and expect them to stay afloat.

They're lottery status.

Deng only played 5 games in the 2012/2013 postseason - Butler played 12 - that's why I excluded him. I listed the starting lineups, beside Taj, all the other players played a small role and for the most part were scrubs - Nazr, Radmanovic, Rip, Teague, Cook. Naming them would only add more weight to my argument.

I'll say again, when Rose has been healthy the Bulls are statistically a top 10 offense. shytty offensive players = shytty offense. No coach can change that.

Yet Snell wasn't part of the lineup that made the comeback.

Cavs made like SEVEN contested jumpers during that run, whereas the Bulls were missing open shot after open shot. shyt like that happens, and no lineup adjustments would make much of a difference. Certainly not replacing Mirotic with Snell.
that avi :dead:

breh, the team has 3 players that needed to be part of the regular rotation and Thibs failed at doing that - instead he decided to make Butler play the highest amount of MPG in the NBA. Why wasn't Snell being groomed, why wasn't Mirotic being groomed - literally 3 young players on the bench and you as the coach don't let them play through the bumps in the regular season.

They're lottery status.

don't switch the goal posts - we are talking about Thibs inepts offense period. The team you you fielded both had Deng on them and regardless of that they both made the playoffs - this was even before Rose was on the team. To say those teams are scrubs is relative since other coaches had simlilar teams sans Rose and still were able to put the Bulls in the playoffs.:yeshrug: Your argument has no weight, both Skiles and Del NEgro - has bad as they were - had Bulls in the playoffs with way worse teams. Thibs inept offense almost had us losing to the Bucks - another 1 round exit, with a fully healthy team.
