You can call for the adjustments Thibs should've made or what lineup he should've started but the bottom line is Lebron wanted to dominate that game from the jump. Even after Shump got hurt and the defense got lazy he still found the open man and shifted the momentum back to the Cavs. Hopefully Shump is ok. We need him to take Butler out of the game.

And if he played Niko, the Cavs aren't resting one guy on defense by sticking them on Noah.

At one point, yall were able to have your best player rest on Noah, allowing a team to do that shyt is absurd.

There were points in this game where Thompson was at the 5. No reason not to play Taj at the 5 to match up with him and Niko at the 4. It's like some of these dudes have no basketball logic who are giving these lineups a pass.

This is another issue. Lebron at the 4 allows him to rest on defense helping off Noah. Meanwhile Jimmy has to deal with Shump and guarding Bron. Another reason why snell/thibs should receive more playing time. But fukk it we blame Thibs too much

Or, niko could spread the floor, opening the lanes so rose and jimmy can drive more and possibly knock down some outside shots. Tristan can't grab a offensive board if it's going through the hoop.

We could counter that lineup with Irving/Shump/JR/Lebron/TT but I agree small ball line ups will win this series since Noah is giving you nothing

You use that line up to get off to good starts and get your offense going and allow jimmy to not stop lebron but to make him work. With that same line up we can run guys off the 3 And use niko defensively to pack the paint and hang off tristan. Then when you are off to a better offensive game you go with a more traditional defensive line up.
