I told you earlier in the season to be patient :hubie: we got our franchise QB
I was hard on Justin not because I didn’t believe in him but because I did believe in him. I knew he had this in him and it was frustrating to see him struggle so much. He has improved greatly and so has Getsy. It’s a beautiful thing. I’m super optimistic about the teams outlook moving forward right now.

People acting like he wasnt missing wide open throws week 1-3. Hes looked incredible the last couple games but come on now.

he was struggling something serious, thats why I dont feel anyway about past criticisms. if he is who we want him to be, then those criticisms are fair game. Ii dont think any Bears fans wrote him off, we just wanted to see him play better

however - there was a national level where folks were calling him a straight up "bust" with no context, those people should be held accountable

Yes he struggled but I knew the offense was going to struggle you have a second year quarterback in a brand new system with a first year Offensive coordinator calling plays for the first time with no weapons beside Mooney and a mediocre oline so I knew it was going to be rough the first Quarter of the season that’s why I was telling @Brozay and @GoldenGlove to be patient with Justin

We need to build both the oline and dline jsn would be nice I was saying we need to draft WR in the first round but after today the bears really need a LT,3 tech and a pass rusher get a WR in the second round
You get a game changer first unless one of them on the line dudes is can’t miss, and none of these other guys are can’t miss, i believe if you can get a proven lineman through fa that’s where you go especially when the draft is a lottery ticket for hope, i hope he’s going to be something

The early part of the season just exposed how fans didn't know what to look at to project the future for a QB. - I saw heart and play calling that didn't really trust what we had. I saw the play calling coddling him. I saw the ability to make plays and I saw a young QB pushing himself a little too much.

I love this.

Fields was never the problem. First couple of weeks they weren't playing to his and the teams strengths. How was he going to make throws when he was getting smashed every play? I know everyone is on the he's a RB kick right now, but he is getting hit way less now than when he was sitting in the pocket getting sacked and hit damn near every play. It's obvious who actually watches the games and who doesn't.

He is Derrick Rose reincarnated for our city
nikka what? I went to Beasley while he was there and I went to Simeon while he was there (I'm 2 years younger). You can't compare Fields to Pooh (:dame:) in any way. Justin Fields is from Georgia, Rose is homegrown

With that said the city is ready to adopt that young man as our own like we did Jordan, boy got game
