And a goofy niqqa in this thread talking about howie finessed us :russ: Bears got 18 million more in cap space next season due to the Quinn trade if the draft similar to this one (the only miss was vjj) and sign some good free agents the bears might be contenders next season:wow:
You must be new to Chicago sports. Just because they have the money that doesn't mean that the Bears, Cubs, White Sox or the Bulls will spend it.

Lol yourse assuming the archaic front office will allocate that capital properly. And 2. The bears are eating a good chuck of that contract. How is that a win? You didnt even look into the details of the contract.

Howie da gawd :ohlawd:
how is the front office "archaic"?

and they are eating the contract for this season and have no financial obligations moving forward outside of dead cap which was always gonna be there - so I dont understand your point about the contract at all - who cares if the Bears eat his contract this season when they open up 18mil next season. Quinn was never going to be on this team after this year and prob won’t be on the Eagles unless they massively restructure

I’m sorry but the one team in Chicago that not cheap is the bears :hubie: they have gone after top free agents and traded for players in the past like
Khalil Mack,Julius peppers,Robert Quinn Mushin Muhammad,Adewale,Brandon Marshall and that’s just off the top of my head The bears have to be big spenders in free agency in the past because of poor drafts :francis:

Breh the bears traded Quinn to free up cap space for next season he was going to be released anyway and the bears got a 4th round draft pick how is that a loss for the bears :skip:

Yet they were too cheap to keep guys like Wilbur Marshall and Willie Gault off of the Super bowl team,; and they traded/cut Robbie Gould and Greg Olsen later on. They even recently let Allen Robinson go to the Rams. Now what is the one position they really suck at this year? Wide receiver.

I have just seen to much crap from the McCaskeys over the years. Hopefully they will spend the cash.

Breh i can’t speak on the 85 bears since I wasn’t born yet but Greg Olsen got traded not because of money but he didn’t fit mike Martz system :snoop: It was a mistake to trade him but it wasn’t because of money Allen Robinson was offered a 5 year 90 million dollar deal in 2020 he turned it down and thank god he did because he was :trash: last year and is :trash: this year Ryan poles made the right decision letting him walk like I said the bears are the one Organization in Chicago we can’t call cheap:yeshrug:

Getting Bradley Chubb and D'Ron Payne with all that cap would be ideal. I predict our OL and DL will be fortified. I don't see many WR options that would be sure fire studs - although Mecole Hardman would be fun... Then we have the draft...

there is a ton of OL talent in FA. They should be drafting our #1 WR and signing someone like Hardman/Lazard/Meyers to compliment that draft pick and Mooney

Chubb, one of those WR, OL help. This team will be ready soon
