I agree with some of the stuff you are saying but without talent around him he is going to hold onto the ball too long because no one is getting open just look up tua people thought he was a bust Miami got him some weapons the last two seasons and he looks like a franchise qb in the first two games if you don’t have weapons you’re not going to succeed :yeshrug:look at josh Allen everyone thought he was a bust he got weapons and took off year 3 I want the fan base to be more patient GB secondary is way better than the bears WRS you can’t expect breh to take a major step without weapons i do want Justin to step up in the pocket more and anticipate wr are going to be open but it’s hard to judge without weapons you need weapons

Charles woodson said the WR gave up on the INt play?

He was talking about Mooney which I agree with him…
I know this season is just a evaluation season i want fields to continue to improve on his footwork, mechanics, stepping up in the pocket instead of running out of the pocket and anticipating wr being open basically throwing WR open But it’s going to be hard to Judge him without WR tbh

The line was fine tonight, yes. There doesn’t need to be some arbitrary point in the season we can express concern about his development, it’s year two now. He’s a professional. Do you think he played well tonight?
He and the team played ok, This “concern” you expressing isn’t necessary in week two, you being sacred because they didn’t pass that much, the only thing that matters is wins and player development, it’s a whole 16 games left, express doubt during the off-season
That’s a dangerous game y’all playing hoping nikkas become Lamar Jackson or Patrick mahomes, y’all got to let these dudes play, most qbs don’t play like mvps in the first 3 and 4 years especially not in the second game of the second year

O-Line was great at run blocking tonight, not so much at pass blocking.

He holds the ball too long. His lack of awareness negates his athleticism behind the LOS. He makes a few unexplainably bad throws/decisions a game. He just doesn’t seem up to speed yet, I expected big steps with all that I year 2. I haven’t seen enough to say he’s accurate by any means

That fact that the coaches only asked him to throw 10 times is a red flag in itself.

Justin has to start showing improvement regardless the talent around him. The line was fine tonight too, so that’s not an excuse we can lean on. He just needs to start processing things faster and get comfortable. He plays stiff for how athletic he is
His awareness seems to be shyt.

On that drive where they got stuffed at the goal line, he had 3 plays where his nonchalant decisiveness cost the Bears a challenge, and getting into the end zone... Twice.

The play where he got the first down on the sideline and casually steps out of bounds as he's reaching for it. They had to challenge it to get it overturned, but really, that shyt shouldn't have even been close to happening.

Then the play at the pylon. Just looked like he didn't dive quick enough with the angle he had. Defender was able to pull him down as he's reaching for the TD.

The goal line stuff would have been a TD if he hit the right hole.

All of this may seem nitpicky, but it goes with the criticism about his decision making being a tick too slow. He's an athletic big QB, these are the type of plays that he should be excelling at right now.

his awareness is non existent and his decision making is slow. it negates his athleticism
i dont know why its controversial to be concerned about these things in year 2

for how quick he is, he looks slow on the field
the guy threw a pass downfield after running 2 full yards past the LOS but its all coaching and the offensive line?

he needs to be better

And on that INT, nobody was near him. He could have ran and got a decent gain. The game was over are that point anyway...but yeah, idk

The Chi (South Side)
another national tv game, and the bears look like :trash: again.

this philosphy if good defense, a running game, and shytty passing offense has been tried here for decades and simply is NOT viable in the modern NFL.

11 passing attempts??? WTF is that bullshyt???

cole kmet sucks, and mooney getting exposed without allen robinson playing opposite from him.
