I liked DJ Darryl, but he recycled tons of stuff other rappers/producers already sampled (If I Could Change, Unpredictable, Street Life, Snitches...). And yeah he was a smaller part of BBTP

I get what you saying but it's hip hop with the samples.

Let's say this K Lou and DJ Daryl played a major role in No Limit Records

It sucks too because pretty much all those old no limit albums are long out of print and expensive as fukk to buy used unless you get lucky.

I've been trying to complete my cd collection but so many albums are way too rare/expensive now.

Holmes, I’ve been scoring old no limit albums on ebay @ the 16.00 - 22.00 range. The only one so far that consistantly has been in the 30.00 range is the Ghetto commission album.

I have quite a few...which ones are you guys looking for? I can do better than the prices on Ebay.

I could kill Silkk Da Shocker with my bare hands for fukkin' me over on "Bourbons & Lacs". That shyt rides harder 'na muthafukka and be beatin' till that piece of shyt's verse.

I actually now like his verse Lol

Of course on 1st listen, I was pissed like you, but now listening to it in 2017, it actually made sense and was just a different style that he brought to that song

Thoughts on this song??

loved this song like crazy but was hella pissed when I couldn't find the album it was on...

bought damn near every No Limit compilation only to be disappointed when it wasnt there.

I knew something was up when I memorized the lyrics and realized Silkk was on beat for the whole song.:patrice:

then I was watching a throw back rap city and the original NWA version came on :gladbron:

then I found out the 10th anniversay Straight Outta Compton :blessed:

Pretty dope how they had the hot artists of the time cover NWA classics....best move of Tomica Wright.
