like what?
Mia X Mama Drama was ASS tried listening to it and it was horrible
Giving Am I My Brother's Keeper another spin, C-Los, O'Dell and KLC shined on this, @JustCKing you were right this album did have it's own sound. Deep and richer production that sounds like it could be on a movie, a lot of story telling tracks and a lot of piano.
This must have been when Soulja Slim first got out or he fukked with Kane & Abel heavy bc he was featured a lot on this

Tru 2 Da Game, Unpredictable, Trapped In Crime, and Shell Shocked are my favorite covers prolly (off top of my head). This one's cool too
album was ok, kinda mid, but might be my favorite album artwork
Carlos was also the last one who joined the BBTP team around mid-/late 97. KLC, Mo B n CB were tight/knew each other before NLI wonder why Carlos stayed after BBTP left, I wonder did he have more info than they did because he did put out skull and ghetto commission through P. KLC and the other members hate him lol they cross out his pic on facebook and myspace.

I liked the We Can't Be Stopped compilationTru 2 Da Game, Unpredictable, Trapped In Crime, and Shell Shocked are my favorite covers prolly (off top of my head). This one's cool too
Album had a few highlights (My Entourage, Assassin, We Represent), but too many subpar/mediocre cuts. Probably one of the bottom 5 NL releases in 98 (Full Blooded and No Limit Soldiers compilation were worse than Assassin for sure)
thought o'dell was the last to join, C-Los was working with P since 96 thoughCarlos was also the last one who joined the BBTP team around mid-/late 97. KLC, Mo B n CB were tight/knew each other before NL

I mean that's politics lol I doubt Carlos did that, that's a P Miller move right there lol. I know Carlos, TSO (GC) & Skull were on Spiral records before too.I think Carlos stayed because he wasn't really a founding member of BBTP. He came in producing under some other production crew. In the credits for "Who Can I Trust" from CI2DG, he is credited a "produced by Carlos Stephens for Whole Records". After that, it was always BBTP until they left and it was C-Los Beats. So it really wasn't any love lost seeing the others leave. I think he also stayed because he saw staying was smarter than leaving. He still had The Commission and a stable of No Limit artists to work with and I think he had a hand in bringing P some of the new producers. Plus P made him the head of the production at No Limit.
I think the others dislike Los because he took credit for "Down 4 My N's". The booklet for No Limit Top Dogg credits KLC. Everybody knows it is produced by KLC, but when it dropped on C-Murder's Trapped In Crime, it is credited as Carlos and XL. C-Murder even replaces KLC's name with XL in his verse.
