@M.DOT
@OHSNAP!

do y'all know or know anyone that know knows about prophet/hypnotize camp posse, three 6 mafia stories?
No idea, I was a huge fan as a youngin' from 2000 (When The Smoke Clears album) on

What people tend to overlook is how Paul, Juice and Scarecrow especially were MASSIVE hiphop fans (and music fans in general, as evidenced in their sampling). From LL Cool J to PE to Geto Boys to Slick Rick and so on

very good Lord Infamous interview from 2009

I'm trying to think of a Mystikal song that I think was on a soundtrack.

It's a more somber, sinister sounding song where he references the car accident he was in.

Can anyone help me out?

Master P played for a short stint for the Fort Wayne Fury CBA basketball team. I saw him once at O'Hare going onto a flight to Fort Wayne for a game after flying in from NO. I got his autograph which I promptly lost :mjlol:

Might not happen for another decade or so, but would love almost nothing more than to see a true, in-depth documentary on the ascension/history of No Limit...specifically how P formed it all...but with as much info on the gangstas involved as possible too.

And I’ve said it in another couple threads, but a Defiant Ones series like the Dre and Jimmy Iovine joint would be amazing on No Limit and Cash Money.
:wow:

Damn, didn't know that there was another beat for Life Ain't Cool, makes sense when you hear the album version...however when you read this, you realize how overworked and empty Mystikal (and BBTP, and all No Limit Soldiers) was during this time, no creativity, no original ideas, no fresh concepts, nothing. One of the most disappointing NL albums for sure. Title track is my fave
