We never had allies anywhere and that goes for blacks from both the diaspora and the continental United States. The narrative of struggle and overcoming hardships are just traits projected onto themselves to keep the propaganda of a shared experience intact. In my life I've seen the absolute worst kind of racism from non whites because they actually believed they can fellatio themselves into being accepted by whites as off white but acceptable., a lot of Latinos,Arabs,East and southeast Asians either have this blind spot when it comes to colonialism,racism and their servitude to imperialism like it was a golden age to be revered or just think they get a pass cause the token totem pole says so. Meanwhile the origin story of a lot of those rose coloured lenses is pitch black and involves genocide,rape, exploitation, sexual fetishes and a eurocentric worldview that rivals Omega level Stockholm Syndrome. I don't count on anyone not from my lineage or cultural hemisphere to do a damn thing for the plight of black people around me So everyone not connect by blood or culture can go sell their shyt elsewhere cause I'm not buying it when you won't take your own kinfolk to task publicly.

Puerto Ricans and Dominicans both shifted Red this election cycle.

The Bronx voted for the GOP as much as Brooklyn this year.

And the Hispanic areas of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts all shifted Red too. Passaic County in NJ is almost 50% Hispanic with a heavy Muslim population but Trump still won the county.

This becomes even more evident in Florida where Ricans in Central Florida were almost like the new Cubans with their Trump support even in spite of the joke.

It's just very interesting to witness.

One of my cousins was telling me the other day about how many Ricans she knew were either for Trump or sitting the election out.

I point this out because Ricans were historically a liberal leaning voting bloc in the Hispanic community with strong communal ties to African Americans but that's starting to shift.
