Man this would be great. Early vibes sound like Georgia based on being close to home, similar system, and relationship with Travaris Robinson, who they snagged shrewdly from Alabama for this very reason. But also sounds like we will do all we can to try to make this happen, so we’ll see. One thing I don’t like (if early vibes are correct) is that most high profile transfers know where they’re going before they hit the portal.

The more I read and look at this, I’m fine with it. Day wasn’t gonna bring in some new innovative offensive mind. His idea was to bring in the “head coach of the offense” to run the Day offense and offer up tweaks to make it even better. He wants to focus less on being the primary play caller and be the CEO of the team like he needs to be. And I think he trusts a veteran coach with NFL and Big Ten head coaching experience to run things. If Nicholas Saban and wanted to bring him in too, I’m good with Day doing it. It’s not splashy, but we didn’t need splashy.
