This shyt is still amazing when you look back a few weeks ago. Four straight wins over top 10 teams. Three straight over top 5 teams. And all by double digits. We might not see this for a long ass time. I’m glad we didn’t have the Pedo route of playing SMU and Boise, then getting to the final four. This run makes it even better and more historic.
Yall should have never had a chance at a title after being ranked #2 in the country and losing at homeThis shyt is still amazing when you look back a few weeks ago. Too much of a large roll of the![]()
for me (character wise, why you not in NC wit da homie, Eagles defense before Vic came thru), but Day has earned some runway.
And he generally doesn't make bad hires and on the off chance he does (Coombs), and to an extent even this year steppin' in after Oregon, he'll either demote yo ass and/or tell you to fix it, plus potentially send you on your way at year's end.
Fucc it we ball![]()
Haven’t had the time to go through this whole thing, but a good discussion about some of his defensive philosophies.
Yeah this approach seems a lot like what Day did with Chip. A veteran coach and former head coach who probably wants to be back in the NFL in a year or two. He’s not coming in to overhaul the defense (because why would you overhaul the best defense in the country in 2024), but will be a veteran playcaller for that side of the ball. Will it work as well as Chip? We’ll see, but the approach of veteran former NFL coach to be around for a year or two is obvious.Gonna check this later. Seen a few clips of him making the rounds at SB Media week tho & he looks/seems refreshed, maybe humbled even.
Also saw somebody say he'll more than likely have his hands on the front end more than anything and with the promotion of OG Walt will be the one handling the backend and keeping sum of the same concepts that Knowles installed.
This is clearly a plan tho, like with Chip, to potentially have him do his thing here then in a hr or 2, Matt G will be promoted just like Hartline.
