Definitely happy for Coach Day & his fam. They need to release them trash ass teacher names from their their school fr. That gotta be surreal to win the title the same day that you lost your pops so many years ago. No matter what happens next, I hope this gives him some peace moving forward to the point where he can coach freely from now on.

Title town…. Coach Day is a real one. Couldn’t imagine the emotions he was going into the game with on the anniversary of his pops death. Glad he brought Mo back into the program.

Agreed with having Mo back is good for the program especially with his life story and where he is now. You can tell that he's humbled but still have that dawg in him. He can keep it more real with the players because he lived it and seen the good and the bad with fame. It's has to be so surreal with Ryan to get your biggest career accomplishment on the same day as your biggest tragedy. He always talked about mental help and he literally had to use it over the last month and half with every going on with the program and got guys to buy in and win it all. I seen clips when guys chose to practice outside in the cold when they knew that the games were indoors. That let me know that they chose to go into the pit and make themselves better in order to withstand whatever happens on the field. They knew that they couldn't come back w/o the title and they played like it.

Exactly. And like Mo said, as much as they come from different paths, he can somewhat relate to Mo and even lean on him in some ways---to have the whole world chompin' at the bit about your life/career + be facing backlash from fans, media, etc. Mo of all people know exactly how that go.

Inauguration the same day of. Longest drawn out season ever. Peaked at 26.1 (higher than last yr avg) between 8-8:30 which is about the time most of you losers turned it off once that 1st ND drive gave y'all blue balls & tOSU ran it up for the 1st half
