Only guaranteed answer is Urban but I don’t think he’d do that to Day.We all know the answer about Day. The question is who can the alumni can pull that would be a guarantee upgrade over him? Feels like that we are in a rock and a hard place as long he leads this team.
You gotta think Vrabel. But I don’t think he wants anything to do with recruiting. We all know the answer about Day. The question is who can the alumni can pull that would be a guarantee upgrade over him? Feels like that we are in a rock and a hard place as long he leads this team.
Urban stated that he's done with coaching due to health issues. Vrabel is available but I'm not sure that he wants to coach college because of recruiting. He's an alum and have HC experience at the highest level. Besides that, I don't know where OSU goes from here. Even if they lucked up and get off a run to the NC, the season still would feel empty because Day can't beat the rodents .Only guaranteed answer is Urban but I don’t think he’d do that to Day.
I remember hearing the story that the reason why he went to Tennessee to coach because he hated the recruiting aspect. Can't be a coach of a top tier program if you hate crooting. You gotta think Vrabel. But I don’t think he wants anything to do with recruiting.
