You think Kyle Korver doesn't have 18 mins of missed shots? Doesn't make him a bad shooter. You AI doesn't have 18 mins of made shots? Doesn't make him a good shooter. In the same way, that video doesn't prove he's ever been a defender. That was 18 minutes of 6 second plays. That 2012 stat image was based on Battier guarding 'Melo for 3 quarters and Lj guarding him in the 4th. Even Paul George called this out, saying:

You got some guys that guard the best player maybe 5 maybe 6 minutes out of the game. And he's considered the best 2-way player because he does it in spot moments. I put all my energy on guarding the best guy for the full game.
