I thought people were exaggerating about naito but dude is shot he was moving half speed most of the match...:francis:
With the way the commentary team was talking about ALL his surgeries he has gotten, Naito lowkey is also on his "retirement tour" as well which is why I was saying that last night's match should have been the time to pass on leadership of LIJ to Time Bomb Hiromu and Naito just relegates himself as a regular member of the crew that limits his appearances from this point forward.

Back and finally got through the rest of the show, still fast-forwarding where I can.

-Not sure what to think of the finish to Douki and El Desperado.

-Yota Tsuji vs. David Finlay was solid and I'd say it was time to put Yota over. Finlay has come a long way though as well.

-Naito is still so over, he's got that star presence and look but he just ain't what he was as an in-ring performer. I enjoyed this well enough, Hiromu should probably get a push this year. If there's ever a year where they need some new stars in the main event scene it's his time

-I'm torn on the main event. I like ZSJ but not sure he's a guy you can build around as THE guy. But he's great. Shota is also great in the ring and a rising star for them but he needs a makeover in terms of look/wardrobe and entrance. He has the tools to be a fiery babyface at the top of the card. They had a good match, crowd was into it mostly but I'd say too much downtime. What did that go like close to 50 minutes? Didn't have to but good match.

That Douki botch was some scary shyt. Glad it sounds like it was only a dislocation.

Miyu/Azm was great.

Shingo/Take too.

Hope they play Shota's journey from this loss into the story that eventually leads him back to the title.

Good show, but not a great show. Looking forward to tomorrow more tbh.

Hiromu needs to be moved to the heavyweight division because that division needs a crazy mutherfukker like him to bring a spark to it.

Shota does need a makeover, trade in those rainbow road looking pants for something different... and become a anti-hero with an edge.

I agree with both points and Hiromu is the kind of guy that can be their Rey Mysterio or Darby Allin if you will, a smaller wrestler but one who is agile and/or crazy enough to make you believe he can last in there with the heavyweights.

So Wrestle Dynasty starts at 11 pm tonight? :jbhmm:

Is the ZSJ vs Ricochet match for the IWGP world title? Doesn’t say in the graphic in OP :jbhmm:
