Been watching this for a bit and OMG at that bump off the apron Ibushi took

Watching this match now, that nicca insane..... then a spot later taking that other head bump.:damn:

We just say Jessica in UFC damn near die from a kick and impact to the head from the exact same side.

I’m shocked this match ain’t over

Ibushi and Naito must've signed some sort of secret death impact to continue to have these matches and do more insanely dangerous spots every time. Ibushi's neck is either made out of steel or one hit removed from splintering into a thousand pieces.

You also gotta love how the crowd was in pure shock when Dragon Lee did his (justifiedly called) suicide dive into the announcers table, then immediately burst out laughing when they caught Milano over selling like usual. :russ:

Jericho out here wheezing less than 5 minutes into a match AGAIN.

It's the main event of one of NJPW's biggest shows of the year, and you can't get into shape? I feel like a broken record whenever I point this out.

Other thoughts so far:

-Thought they would've given Lil' Red Shoes a little more in his match with Moxley, but that was about what I expected anyway. The kid definitely seems to have something, and if anyone has some match recommendations I'd be happy to dig into those. I'm very interested to see what Mox does in the G1, though.

-The best thing about Taichi is still, now and forevermore, Miho Abe. He made an Ishii match boring, which I thought was an impossibility.
He may suck more than I remember. :ohhh:

-Ospreay is a fukking idiot and Dave has lost his mind if he believes this guy is one of the best in the world. Great athlete, great moves, but his match structure and selling are just hideous. Dude has a way of making me not care about death defying moves that's unlike almost any other wrestler I've watched. The day he smartens up about basic match layout and storytelling will be a great day in the annals of pro wrestling, because then he might be able to use his prodigious talents to consistently put on excellent matches.

-Ibushi and Naito are really trying to paralyze one another out here. Why did they think an apron German Suplex to the floor would be a good idea? :mindblown: If nothing else, it added to the story, so it wasn't a total loss, but SOMEONE needs to be the adult here and save these men from themselves. Very good match, but I really never need to see it again.

The one thing I can't stand about Ospreay matches is the spot where Ospreay goes for a big move which his opponent counters into an absolutely destructive move, goes in for the kill with another move which Ospreay then counters into a big move. It means he no-sells his opponent's offense completely to pull off the counter, and to make things worse, they run that spot two or three times in each of his matches.

just started watching

Moxley is impressive in the ring, they would never let Dean Ambrose use that Death Rider finisher in WWE
