dude sounds like he would crash out RIGHT NOW
That's what I thought the long and short of it was.
Jeezy sent his friend on a crash mission to kill Gucci. Gucci killed him and lived to become rich and famous talking about it. What else is there?
Choices… decisionsHow do ppl turn out like this. I listened to the same music and never had the same thoughts or goals....and I come from a broken home.
Coli told me rap had no effect on listeners. It was their environment. Like rap isn't a part of the environment.
It might not be the thing that made street culture but it definitely sold it long past expiration date.
BingoJeezy never sent them people at Gucci and he knows that, it was just easier/safer to go at Jeezy instead of the real folks who actually did.
The dude who got killed and Jeezy weren’t even close like that.
I feel him
If you was a young nikka “in the streets” around 02 you know nikkas fukked with Jeezy hard
He was talking that shyt
The teachers aides of the coli wouldn’t understand
I would agree with you. We in the era of goons not kingpins. For as much as people admire street shyt the aspirations are pretty much stuck at the bottom. No vision. Everyone want to be a foot soldier. No bosses. The real authentic street culture died in 2004, and people that continued to push that paradigm released a lot of subpar and uninspired material that aged poorly. I'm talking about hood movies (straight to DVDs), mixtapes, fashion. Once Kanye West came out and showed the youth a better way, a lot of people moved on. The ones that didn't, became parodies of the sub culture years prior.

How many people today would ever qualify for an American Gangsta episode. Meaning they did some shyt that was so smart or calculated that you have to at least admire the process despite it being criminal. No masterminds. Just crash dummies. Hip hop went from reporting on the environment to reporting on yourself. All for clout.
It's fitting you chose that year because I haven't seen a crew with notable stories worth telling on a street level since BMF. Yet street culture has never been more pervasive.
Maybe he was.I don’t think it’s luck that the two people that created me taught me something.
Maybe your dad should have been a fakkit if he wasn’t gonna take the time to get to know you…
