This Nipsey Hussle worship ever since his death has been downright weird. Just let that man rest.
The “worship” is a byproduct of the love he cultivated in life. I watched him come to my neighborhood in Crown Heights and get the type of love nobody not even New Yorkers get in New York.

I watched a line of people hand over $100 for a mixtape at vinnies styles. Yes he’s more popular in death but only because he was immensely loved in respected in life

Damn the store got closed down?? Another black-owned shop closed and no one could take it over. Smh.

Very sad that the store is not open. You'd think it would be making a lot of money since his passing. Gotta be some politics behind it.
Store still going strong in online capacity til they open another physical. I cop every other month + they still collab'ing with Puma consistently.

Drove up with my boy for the memorial, and it was fine, but you can feel the tension, I remember noting the OG's pulled up in two Roll's, with 60k on the wrist, and like 6 young shooters in front of them with face tats. That's not like a civilian public setting.

Did see some really goofy LA kid take a picture with his hands like an angel, like the emoji, praying, for like 4 seconds and left. That's the kind of shyt that is just painful to watch.

It was fenced off and there were merch tables where Cowboy and others were selling Marathon gear outside the fence. I didn't even park, just kept driving by.

I wonder if they city made them stop selling altogether.

All of that Marathon gear they were selling was fake.

The outside of the store looked terrible, people selling fake gear, people selling bbq plates, people having rap battles and etc.

the mural is behind the store and people want to see where Nip's legacy was, no different than the intersection of where 2pac died in Vegas.

No one goes over there to see where 2Pac died. That's on Koval/Flamingo and there's no mural, etc. & there's very lil' over there that would signify that that's where his death occurred.
