Peckham™ Come Get Me!

These nikkaz have no heart

Did he just step over him to run away then turn back around then stomp on his head before fleeing again? That seemed personal :ohhh:

:pacspit::mjcry:

I haven't listened to Nipsey since like 09/10/11 I think but I'm sure he didn't deserve any of this. I wonder what this stemmed from?:dwillhuh:

And I thought I had people that hated me in real life.:deadrose:

Its not smart dumb, im asserting that survival is paramount, especially when you have a family. Nipsey was an icon for the locals, and has a platform abd this happened to him. Most cats who try to better their environment and get taken out dont get nearly the love and recognition.

Nipsey was notable enough to possiby move hundreds of people i to actually following his blueprint. Even a few dozen is a win. The local guy doing the same might have his legacy die with him because people didnt revere him for being simply an entrepreneur rather than a banger turned rapper turned entrepreneur.

Now if you do it for te love of yor people and hoping to contribute positively, thats awesome. If you got nothing good out of the hold except for the motivation to get right so you can get out the bytch, awesome. Not everybody is interested in potentially getting taken out by a pos who has no regard for the reason tou stayed, essentially validating the reason many leave.

Notto mention in the hood, politics are usually broken, schools are ass, grocery stores can be a luxury, housing is lousy, and services are nearly non existent unless its the cops coming to scoop you up. Lets not act like their arent a million and one reasons to leave the hood. I damn sure wouldnt be doing what I am doing if I stayed. fukk that shyt.

But there are plenty of black men and women, in multiple cities across America, who channel their entrepreneurial spirit towards endeavors in neighborhoods where violence is pervasive. And, contrary to the implications of your statements, the vast majority of these people don't meet the fate that befell Nipsey. He was an active gang member who got sloppy. Stop making excuses for his mistake and using that as justification for other black entrepreneurs to turn their back on the hood. You're being overly emotional and, as a result, extremely illogical. :francis:

Type weird that nikkas acting like they have to draw comparisons between him and Pac and lowkey shyttin on Pac to uplift Nip:patrice:. Not necessary.

nikkas need to chill on that. Pac was barely 25 when he was shot. Nip would have been 34 in a few months. My man had damn near a decade extra to reform and sow back into his community. Let's respect both, honor em both what they meant to our culture and keep the Marathon going.

RIP Nip
