RIP NIPSEY HUSSLE THA GREAT

Gone too soon.. Loved this dudes music (that Bs Ain't Got No Name series will always be fire) and work ethic, and especially what he did for his community as a leader. There are very few people left that are anything like Nipsey as far as really investing back into their community and the children.

This is a sad situation, a sad day.

Thoughts of course also with his wife, child and his loved ones.

And also I think this is pretty significant - we all know Nip wasn't out there active on some gang shyt.. he was uplifting his people more than anything:

you must not know Los Angeles

majority of hood nikkas are killed in their own hood

his homeboy Fatts was killed in his own hood

Regardless of the good he was doing you cannot deny he represented arguably the most notorious Crip faction in Los Angeles. You think he wore that Mariners hat cuz it was nice? There is real fear out there that bodies are going to be adding up real soon as a result of his death. This has the potential to get very ugly. This is a dude that threw hands with Big U and his brother fired a gun in the air to break it up when it got too hot. And I guarantee you he wasn't afraid of death cuz of his background. That's the culture that he and a lot of young boys are coming of age as men within. You can stick your head in the sand like an ostrich if you want but when you do come up for air reality will be there.

Again, another person talking shyt about something they don't know nothing about. Outsider looking in -- on all things Black America -- but think they know. You don't.

On what he wore......And? And other people do and wear shyt they want -- that's their business. He wasn't promoting gang violence, lifestyle or activities. Everyone know that. Everyone has a past. He wasn't glorifying it.

The point is it wasn't his people, the neighborhood he loved and supported nor his "culture" that killed him. It could be anyone -- and his death and killing is not reflective of that neighborhood, ethnicity or said culture.
