Sources connected to Tanisha Foster tell TMZ, she will not accept Sam Asghedom, Nipsey's brother, as the manager of the late rapper's fortune, which Sam estimates at $2 million. Sam filed legal docs, saying Nipsey died without a will, and he wants to be appointed the administrator of his brother's estate. A judge is set to rule on Sam's request June 10.

Under California law, Nipsey's children would share equally in his estate. In addition to 10-year-old Emani, the child Nipsey had with Tanisha, he left behind 2-year-old Kross, who's mother is Lauren London. So, each would get around $1 million, less fees and taxes.

Tanisha is fighting for custody of Emani, and if she's successful, she would have some power in handling the money and would probably be entitled to use some of it to provide for the child. A judge has temporarily blocked Tanisha from having physical custody of Emani ... the child is currently living with Nipsey's sister.

Our sources say Tanisha has tentatively decided to ask the probate judge to continue the hearing so she can get clarity on the custody case. We're told there is bad blood between Tanisha and Nipsey's family, and she will almost certainly end up objecting to Sam becoming the administrator​

When you have a child with a woman, you kinda empower her to be a guardian/executrix of your estate belonging to that child with her. So unless you change that (maybe because you lost trust in her) in writing, it will likely remain that woman with which you had that child.

Like it or not, the baby mama's have more legal power than Nipsey's brother because children are next of kin. That's why you make a will. Otherwise, the children (or their surviving guardian if they're underage). Keep in mind what state they are in also. This favors the first BM more than Sam.

The first BM can also argue that her income is much lower than Lauren London's and thus Emani needs more money for childcare. It's a ugly situation that could've been largely avoided with Nipsey making a will before he died.

Having to go against your own family in court with lawyers making all the money is the absolute worst.

She can draw out the process and even if she lost, she could indirectly become a ghost administrator when Emani turns 18. This whole process finna literally drag on for decades.

Doesn't matter how much you have. As an adult that has possesions and things in your name, you need to make a will. Saves the people you leave behind all that extra trouble.

For the moment but they've got another hearing on it in July.

I can very well see her being the admin to part of the estate that Emani inherits. But I can see Sam arguement for the admin rights because of the money he put in to get TMC empire started. Nip didn't own everything to himself, so thats going have to be worked out. I can see it dragging out tho.

It would be worth it. You can also make a will yourself for free.

Why leave confusion, arguements and lawyers making the bulk of the profit instead of just making a simple will to establish how you wish things be distributed.

Who's to say you aren't owed some big amount that they don't find out about until you die?
