This shyt is different breh. I didnt feel like this when any other rapper died. I spent maybe 3 minutes on it when XXX died. Nip didnt put out that type of energy so hes the last guy I expected this to happen to. Shyt feels like a bad dream honestly. You know this is different bc of all the love Nip is getting from everyone. The LA times and LAPD were very respectful when talking about him. Hes getting love from all over the world and its genuine! He might not have been the biggest rapper sales or celebrity wise but people definitely knew his message and what he was pushing. He didn't just talk about it. He was doing it! I just hope that his unfortunate passing will finally wake our people up so that we can follow his blueprint and start to heal ourselves and our communities. I hope red and blue can really put a permanent stop to the banging and work together. They can be more powerful than they ever imagined if they united as one. Going to take the rest of the day to meditate, rest and plan some shyt for my future. On my Hussle for real! Long live the legend Nipsey Hussle!!
Xxx had me down for a minute. Because he finally turned that corner in his life. And he had a brilliant mind. Even if you watch his earliest interview....when he was still troubled. you could see that his mind worked on a different level. And then you fast forward to his later interviews. The growth was crazy. He really understood where he went wrong and he learned to accept his past. And he was really out here giving back to his community. Talking to the kids. Trying to bring people together.

His whole vision was similar to nipsey. To end all that hate and uplift each other. He was really gonna make a major difference. He learned true knowledge of self at age 20. And the potential he had was crazy. If nipsey passed at 20, how would he be remembered?......the 20's give you the best jewels in life. So much knowledge. Just the fact that X was able to reach that enlightenment so young was great to see. He still had his demons but he was on his way to something great. You could feel it. Both are tragedies. One young man who had just learned his purpose in life. And another young man who was already fulfilling his purpose. Just makes me feel empty.

I think in part for a lot of people is that if Nipsey Hussle can't move in LA and give back, who can? No one had the ability to move around between business, gangs, entertainers, athletes, and government people like he did in LA. Truly unique.

People are mentioning all the good he did but forget all the things he was GOING to do and would have done had he had 40-50 more years in LA.

Nip was a chamelon that adapted to different surroundings, environments with people/groups of different backgrounds. He wore alot of hats but stayed true to who he was. There's not many rappers that can pull that off.

It's really amazing how he was able to juggle everything he had going on.

Someone in here said it best...Nip was on his way to becoming a young Magic Johnson in the LA community. :wow:

This one truly hurt all of Southern California. Like a real bad cloud killing the vibe over the entire area. I hope all of the people who depended on him every day continue to push and stay on the positive side to continue his legacy.
I been doing uber driving and everybody is devastated. Well mainly Black and brown. This is a different feel than pac. Not worse. Just different. Nip was homegrown. He was west coast. And he repped us like a true king.

This shyt has been eating me up inside. I can't stop thinking about it for a second. All I can do is play his songs and let him live on through his music.

It's been a week and I feel like it's hitting me more now than ever, haven't stop thinking about him this weekend.

The more I watch his videos and interviews the shyttier I feel, but at the same time I can't stop watching them.
That's what we have to do. People saying they still can't play his music, but that's what you need to do more than anything right now. If you cry then you cry. I start feeling alone when I stop playing his music. I don't wanna do anything else. Haven't been able to watch any shows, listen to podcasts, nothing. I just wanna hear nipsey's words all day.

I just made a nipssey CD for the whip for this exact reason.

I really ain't trynna hear anything but nipsey right now, have no interest. I have realised that I had been sleeping on him the last few years... I really was banging nipsey hard around 09/10 since then I only really checked for his mixtapes once in a while and victory lap.

While making the cd I went back to his "bullets ain't got no name" series, I felt like I was in a time warp back to my younger days in my first car with the two 12s in the back. Literally while I was having that thought the track switched to a hundred a show

"You fukking with a young nikka, two twelves in the trunk nikka" :blessed:

And this shyt realer than life when you raised so fukked up you start feeling this right
When you seen so much death you start dealing with Christ
If you ever make it out you give em different different advice
Put my truth in this music hope I'm givin' em light
Just another flawed human trying to get this shyt right
Love a strong passion but resist it with pride
Too much honor in my heart to let that mickey shyt fly
750li count another hunnid thou while I ride
Stonewashed Fear of God like peanut butter on rye
Real shyt a nikka touchin' the sky everyday I wake up I refine
You see me drinking alkaline

By any means i gave you a design
I even titled it I put it on my part of the shine
Keep shyt going every morning I try
Long as it's late model foreign I'm fine
Lot of pain don't expect me to cry
Lot of fails still expect me to try
I'm from the gang they expect me to die
