This is a long post so if y'all wanna skip it, it's all good.
It's been a week and I'm still stunned
Nipsey was one of my favorite rappers and his death might be the hardest one I dealt with in music/entertainment. I was sad when Prodigy passed but Nipsey really effected me on spiritual/emotional level to the point I been doing alot of soul searching and reflecting.
A few months ago, I had a near death experience while I was at my sister's place. Some ignorant nikkas shot it up looking for my next door neighbor over some gang shyt. Luckily, the bullets missed me but I was sitting right in front of where the bullets came through. Busted my window and my TV. I ducked down as fast as I could but I thought I was gone. All I can say is God is real
That experience changed me. I kept working hard, stacking up and eventually got my 1st apartment last month. I start a new job that pays more $ next week and I been bussing ass in the gym.
Nipsey getting killed had more of an effect on me to the point I been reaching out to some of my old homies, family members I lost touch with, even ex broads I used to mess with. I just been sending them some positive and uplifting l energy and blessings.
Nipsey inspires me to want to become a leader, be a positive influence, to bet on yourself and swing for the fences to get what you desire.
I'll be 28, next month. My mindset is changing, I'm getting older, the time is now to really get on my shyt and take things to the next level.
Because tommorrow isn't gurranteed. Leave something incredible behind you before we go and our people will represent us to the fullest.
