This shyt hurts because Nipsey did it all right. He came from the bottom and made it. And instead of running away into confinement, he chose to share his success with his community. He led by example. And the dude who took him out is the same type of dude nipsey was trying to teach. Most hoods are full of genuinely good people....even most gang bangers are good people. But you always have those snakes in the grass that wanna take you down. They see a man who got the riches, the woman, and the power and they wanna take it from him. Because if they don't have those things, they don't want anybody else to have em either.

After X got killed I said I was done with all the negative trap music. I stopped all that shyt for a while but eventually got back into it. the "legal insanity" defense that prevents jail time is not the same just being "mentally ill".
