And how does it compare, because I was a HUGE fan of K Sports and K Sports resort.
I was the Wii-Coli-Boxing champ... actually, it was Kinect Sports, but I was the champ :manny:
Wii-Sports Resort I was diggin the Golf game. The OG tennis joint was epic. Again, how does it compare

The mechanics and fun factor of the base sports are there.

The major different and downfall is Wii sports has practice modes (mini games) that also have challenges. So for tennis there's a mini game where you hit the ball into certain sections of the court, there's another where you bounce it off the wall, another where you hit a bullseye. And while fun you also get gold, silver or bronze if you hit the target enough times or complete the objective within certain times.

Switch sports doesn't have this. So you basically play the games over and over until you get good but competing against your friends in the mini games was fun and you lose that.

Wait.... So the last time I fukked with Nintendo was during the Wii era, and I soft modded it myself...

Is it anything like that? And I'll likely get the OG version that has newer innards. Basically thats all they sell in stores now
The OLED, I don't think my 4yr old cares, and I don't see it not getting smashed sooner than later. I just hope it'll still work docked :yeshrug:
Got my eye on a Mario Kart 8 bundle but I'm open to suggestions...

I get you, and I personally loved the Mini games too but I also remember "casual" gamers not caring for it as much so I can see why they didn't add it. Maybe it'll comeback as DLC? And what will I need to play, just some Wii-motes or is there something new/improved?
