First of all my backlog on other consoles is so huge I can afford not to play any switch games for years and be fine.
Also what makes you think Nintendo still won’t announce a pro later this year? This event clearly was just about software and not hardware announcement you dumb fukk.

This fukking retard :mjlol:

Switch pro will be announced with its own special show so they can spend the entire show showing its features and letting it get all the attention not sharing it with their software and getting overshadowed.

Anybody who thinks Switch Pro anything is happening this year needs to wake the entire fukk up.

I've said it time and time again: there's a chip shortage and the only thing confirmed is that Nintendo is struggling to produce Switches that actually exist. Combine that with existing Switches still selling like crazy despite these limitations, why in the fukk would there be a new model any time soon?

Why? Because you read yet another unfounded rumor but you think if you wish really hard upon a star that it's really gonna happen this time? Get real breh.

Not even gonna get how nikkas in here said their Switch was collecting dust, yet a whole new model playing the same fukking games is supposed to alleviate that issue.

Not cause of the games, because teh hardware is trash. And the switch has been out 4.5 years, its not crazy that a refresh would be announced. The pro isn’t an entirely new model. Nintendo always does refreshes so I’m not sure why you find this so hard to believe. Just because they haven’t announced it doesn’t mean its not happening.

Why is Bayonetta taking so long though? I think they might be reinventing Bayonetta sorta like how Sony reinvented God of War. Bayo 3 might be a completely different game than what we expect.
Current switch is probably too weak with what they want most likely. I feel they are waiting for better hardware from Nintendo.

Anyone else's joy cons slip out mad easily?

Is there a simple fix or do I have to buy a new set?

Simple fix.

Metal slide locks. Install for the locks alone probably take 3 mins.

but I read that installing metal slide locks means that if you accidentally drop your Switch that It can actually damage the the main unit.

Hence the reason Nintendo went with plastic?

That makes sense. It is actually better that if the entire switch drops the impact is absorbed by the joycon which then detached from the unit rather than the entire unit absorbing impact.

My 4 year old dropped the switch from the kitchen table to the floor and the joycon detached. Everything else was perfect. It made that joycon a little slippery, like I didn't need to hold down the button to detach it anymore. I replaced the plastic locks with the metal ones and she has grown (this was probably 3 years ago) and everything has been good.
