Thinking about picking up a switch, which one do you brehs recommend the regular or the lite version?

It depends on what you want

For regular switch

• Can play on your big tv with better resolution
• You can switch out your joy cons (important for when you get drift, and you will)
• It can still be used as a handheld when you inevitably just play it in bed

For lite

• It’s more form fitting for portable playing
• Way better battery life
• Cheaper

In my own biased opinion as someone who rarely plays handheld, i say get the regular for the simple fact that joycon drift exist. Being able to send back or replace a joy-con is far better than sending your entire console in for repair. Not only that but right off the bat you get an extra controller with the detachable joycons and a charging station.

Unless you know for a fact you will be content only playing portable and intend on traveling with it i say get the lite, if not the regular is better in every way.

Monster Hunter Rise gotta be the most impressive title on switch from a performance standpoint. Not only do character and monster models look great, but load times are snappy and it maintains its frame rate even in large encounters between multiple monsters and players. That RE Engine is something else

Mario Odyssey, Yoshi Crafted World, Kirby All-Stars, New Super Mario Deluxe, MK8 Deluxe, Super Mario 3d World. all seem appropriate.

Lol I was gonna recommend Paw Patrol earlier

The let’s go series is definitely more all ages friendly, its a lot simpler and has motion controls.

Regular switch version 2 got better battery life than the Lite
