Is their facts to support it?

Personally I haven’t touched my joy cons outside of Mario odyssey. The pro controller is a great controller. Granted I haven’t really used handheld mode since quarantine started.
I think this was reported by their own QA,
also for the simple fact that the lite doesn’t use joycons- which had a manufacturing issue

Has anyone had any experience with this. I know my left joycon has drift and was wondering if this was a good investment? I still have the pair of joycons I got free with Super Mario Party.

They’re great it’s part of the reason why I switched to the elite controller for Smash, so I can lab shyt in handheld. I was using the satisfye grip w/ joycons before which was solid but this is definitely more comfortable over long periods of time

My girl is telling me she wants a switch so I’m like ok :ehh: the price isn’t bad but I can’t find an animal crossing switch that’s not over $200 more and the game isn’t even included :dead:

@BlaqkSpliffin I’ve had the Switch lite for almost 4 months now and I don’t regret not going with the regular Switch at all. It wasn’t about price or availability to me, it was about which console felt better to play as a handheld. From the size, real d-pad and overall sleekness, the Switch Lite was just a better fit for me.

I already have ps and xbox. And as pretty as some switch games are, I have absolutely no desire to see switch graphics blown up my 65 inch 4K tv. I also live alone and don’t have kids so sharing/multiplayer isn’t a concern.

So yeah, it mostly comes down to what you value feature-wise. The regular Switch is objectively the better of the two. In the long-run it’s the best option for someone on the fence about which one to get. While the Lite is more for people that just want the handheld experience with modern Nintendo games
