I hadn’t thought of it this way before but I agree. I’ve got all kinds of devices that can do all kinds of shyt. I like the pure gaming focus on the switch. I don’t even have the youtube app on it anymore, Whenever I pick up the Switch you know I’m bout to be playin-playin
Indeed. That's one of my main gripes about the Vita (which was probably the GOAT handheld imo). While it was a powerful machine, the gaming aspect was always short sighted in favor of features that were too intimidating for average users. Don't get me started with the weird ports and the ATT 3g feature which bombed like shyt. Meanwhile, the Switch I managed to keep gamed up and have no problem cutting on and playing for hours until the battery dies. Yet, the Vita felt like a smartphone with a WAY better screen (that OLED tho).
Overall, while most folks tend to shyt on Nintendo for them being stuck in the stone age of gaming, that's the charm that keeps the fanboys at the clubhouse. When you think of Nintendo, you don't think of 4K, streaming services, and shyt load of features. You think about quality games, sleek design, and Mario
