Astral Chain is a great game. Not sure why having a lite would be a problem. If it's a question about playing the game in handheld mode, that's the only way I play games on my switch. I don't even know where my dock is at.

I've heard/read some games don't feel the same in handheld mode, and I don't have the original Switch to know. But with that, I will most definitely be copping. Thanks.

Some games have framerate issues and are graphically not as good if it's not on the dock but I feel like most switch games aren't like that anymore, every game i think got downgraded across the board to accomodate for the handheld mode I believe.

No games are still downgraded in handheld mode (XC for instance is 378-540p in handheld, 540-720p docked) but I feel like I would take a graphic downgrade in order to have a stable framerate. Some games are almost unplayable.

I forgot to tell y'all. This is the best investment.

2 metal slide locks to replace the plastic ones and 2 updated joy-con joysticks which fixes/removes the drift.

I dropped my left joy-con in a glass of water, then the rubber grip came off (my fault also). My right one got fukked at some point and just considerable got worse.

I thought about buying new joy-cons and sending them in, even filled out the rma. $15 for the new slide locks and the joy-cons are much better than buying new joy-cons or sending them away for a week or how ever long.

It's just a few screws. I didn't even disconnect the battery. A ribbon cable slipped out but I put it back. The right joy-con is completely different than the left but it's just screws and ribbon cables.
