What big titles dropping this year after Animal Crossing?

H2x1_NSwitch_Ninjala_image1600w.jpg

A new "action game epic to follow Splatoon and Fortnite" is planned for release on Nintendo Switch in 2020.

The news comes from the latest issue of the monthly CoroCoro comic in Japan (thanks, Ryokutya2089 / Gematsu), which reportedly teases the game alongside a key visual which stars a boy protagonist and a mysterious monster in a New York-like city. This image hasn't yet been shared online, but we'll make sure to keep an eye out for it and update this article if it appears.

It's not yet clear which studios are behind the title, but it is reportedly set in "a new world that utilises Switch’s performance to its very limit,” where “battles break out between skyscrapers in the middle of a peaceful city."

We don't know about you, but that sounds pretty exciting to us. One last detail known at present is that a manga adaptation of the game is already in the works.

As promised above, we'll update this story when we learn more. Until then, feel free to share your thoughts on what this might be in the comments below.

Since me and my fiancée bout to be shut-ins for a stretch, was looking into getting a Switch ‘cause it has the most games that she’s interested in too.

Been tryna google, get can y’all put me up on any of the best console deals I might be missin? I’m just real green in the whole gaming scene. Looks like I just slept on Mar10 day.

‘Preciate the tip, breh! Yeah, I’ve had a hard time finding it in stores, even before they all shut downs, but I’ll keep an eye out for the red packaging.

I don't know if I'm gonna buy Animal Crossing. Looks dope but I can't play time wall games. I could be thinking too much into it. But since I play sporadically, unlike a game like Mario maker 2 where I've completed 80 something levels in 2-3 separate plays and am 97% complete, I can't consistently invest time and not make much progress.
