works half the time for me. seems to be fine at airports but never got it to work at shyt life cafes or hotels

I know that there was never a video chip installed in this device but is there anyway around it?

Thinking i should just sell this damn thing and get a regular one

presently and officially no...but I'm sure modders/hackers are trying to make it happen.

why didn't you just get the OG if you had any thoughts of docking/TV play?

I haven’t used mine since I traveled during the xmas holiday

it was invaluable during that trip tho

I have a regular switch so that’s why I hardly use it @ home

during the morning commutes to work its great but when I first bought it i didnt care to dock it or use it on a TV. now that Im kinda passing on the Google Stadia, im feeling like this switch is ideal until the ps5 drops.

yesterday I enjoyed the fukk outta playing smash bros on my homies big screen but USB type C-HMDI extensions wont work on the switch lite unless you use some janky ass method

at the time the docking wasnt serious to me at all, I just wanted a video game to play portably when I'd be smoking sometimes since I aint had shyt to do.


still a great system if you're looking to upgrade from the DS or just wanted the "i have a portable gameboy" feeling, but i really did underestimate the power of the TV docking

I know that theres a lot of USB Type C dongles that you can plug in your system for headphones, speakers and additional controllers but the video output seems to still be a mystery

I may have to make another letgo posting

ended up just buying the regular switch from best buy and sold the switch lite @surf

ive looked far and wide and realized there's no work around for this video docking shyt man

I think im gonna cop smash bros next week for sure though cause the wide screen i got in my crib is perfect for the ass whoppins

you really should’ve done that before you sold the switch lite

if you have a nintendo online account...then hopefully your saved games were uploaded to the cloud associated w/ your account...if not then that’s it...it’s gone...the games don’t save to a memory card...they are saved on the device itself and to the cloud only if you have their online service

If you haven’t already, go to Nintendo.com, and log into your account to deregister your Switch Lite as the Primary Console. You don’t want whoever you sold your Switch Lite to have access to your account and any digital games you’ve bought.
