Monster Hunter XX releases on March 18th, 2017. Coincidence?
Capcom made it way too obvious.
Yeah it's gonna light up the chartsNew Monster Hunter and The Legend of Zelda at launch. I can't see the Switch not doing well.

zelda/monster hunter and maybe mario at launch is sure fire sales globally
The biggest problem people have with Nintendo is the lack of games coming outMonster Hunter XX suffers the same problem as Breath of the Wild. In that it's also on another console. Monster Hunter XX will be on the 3ds. People MIGHT get the NX/Switch version but why? Most Japanese already have a 3DS. Why buy a new handheld/console for this?

No one doubts that the it will have good launch games
But what about 6 months from launch and so on?
It's a pretty good decision to maximize sales, those that want a Switch don't have to remain on past hardware for Monster Hunter and The Legend of Zelda, while those that aren't interested in the Switch won't miss out on games that were promised to them(The Legend of Zelda).
Nintendo is really small for a gaming giant, so they had to split their resources among two platforms, with the Switch they can now focus on one platform that can accommodate both their home console and handheld offerings. If Nintendo doesn't fukk this up(fingers crossed) than we can say goodbye to first-party droughts and hello to The Legend of Zelda, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Mario Kart, Splatoon etc. all on one platform.

You have to admit this yours and everyone elses hopes and expectations. We have no idea what Nintendo has planned?
Is it official that there will be no successor to the 3ds?
