Never heard of it but gonna check it out off the strength of this post.
Dude, it's this awesome ode to the 2D Ninja Gaiden, Metroid, and Castlevania series. It starts out as a linear platform and swaps into a Metroidvania format with the ability to hop between 8-bit and 16-bit dimensions. Very ingenious concept, I loved it.

Double post from @Mr Hate Coffee's "Games nobody played" thread.

This game was awesome and none of the dudes in this sub supported. I should neg all the regulars in here.

Really? Even under a thread search? I thought it was mentioned a few times cause it's a dope ninja gaiden type game, maybe it had it's own original thread? I've heard more than a few talk about it.

I own and beat it. A really good game that feels like a throw back to the old NG games. Haven't beat the expansion yet but plan to when I find some free time.

The Switch version of DMC3 will include style switching, which was never included in the other versions unless you modded the PC version.

To bad Capcom wants to nickle and dime switch owners instead of doing the right thing and releasing a collection:martin:

So it looks like I’ll be copping Dragon Ball on sale during the summer drought, and as a result I’m picking up Fire Emblem. What am I in for brehs :lupe:

All the reviews making it out like a perfect game. Sekiro lived up to the hype does this as well?

probably my favorite game from last year. Fully voiced dialog, great characters/story, and you get to develop your squad with a pretty cool leveling system. If you like the tactical combat it’ll be a grade A game for you

I'm thinking of copping a Switch Lite brehs? Is it worth it? Just wanna get some opinions.
I own a regular switch and as someone who is not a huge fan of Nintendo games, I was looking for a Vita replacement and it fills that void for me. Why are you thinking about getting one?

One reason is to play the Pokemon Sword/Shield games. I grew up on Pokemon. Also wanna start gaming a little bit again and rather than buy a console I'd rather get a Switch or Switch Lite. How's the library of games?

To me that's enough reason(I bought mine to play Monster Hunter GU). As far as library, as someone who is not a huge Nintendo fan I have about 40 games. It has a good mix of first party and third party games. Keep in mind, a lot of the third party games are ports and some are not that good but if you don't own another console or pc then you should be fine. I've double dipped on multiple games I already own on PC because I prefer being able to play them in handheld mode.

Do you have games you would recommend? I really don't have many preferences because I haven't really been gaming much so I'm honestly open to trying whatever.

Hollow Knight
Cuphead
Ori and the Blind Forest
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3
Monster Hunter GU
Dead Cells
Slay the Spire
Enter the Gungeon

That should be enough to get you started.
