I played the original doom games when I was 9 or 10 years old and never put 2 and 2 together.
I just thought it was all monsters.
Got a little older and realized the whole game was demonic and most of the game actually took place in Hell.
The new ones toned that back a bit as far as the imagery goes and went more with the monster angle, but they still make plenty of audio reference to Hell and demonic energy.

Speaking of spirituality....interestingly enough, Diablo 3 is actually the best game in terms of being on the right side of good and evil. The entire game is actually about joining up with angels and fighting evil. It doesn't glorify anything demonic. It's 100% "God vs the Devil" and the whole time you're on God's side.
Throughout the game you are actually referred to as Nephilim, which if you know anything about The Bible is pretty dope.

On some real shyt y'all Warframe sabotaged my Smash Bros dreams. Was wanting the game but if I buy it I probably won't play it often. I'm addicted to Warframe because it has so many options. I signed up for a free trial for twitch Prime to use that sniper rifle and cape. My fast reload mod for rifles is maxed out. The sniper rifle has two shots. It reloads so fast that I just use it as a shotgun and no scope most enemies. Still end up racking up headshots even though I just aim in their general direction. Must be aim assist kicking in or my marksmanship has improved.

The GameCube had Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance and Deception, however, Armageddon was on the Wii. The only main title Mortal Kombat games that wasn't on a Nintendo platform is vs. DC Universe, MK2011 & MKX.

I remember growing up reading gaming magazines and video game sites talking about MK and Resident Evil being on the GameCube. If we're being honest here, Nintendo only keep their family friendly image for their first and second party developers (not all the time with second party developers thou), but not with third party as the Wii Had MadWorld and No More Heroes, the Wii U had Bayonetta 1 and 2 for examples.

Even on the 3DS there were games like Senran Kagura (which the series started on) and Dead or Alive being on the platform.

But to answer the question, yeah they were marketed on the system.

Yeah the PS2 version of BMX XXX of all ports was censored, but as you see still to this day gamers will never confront Sony on censoring japanese games, however, will all have the energy in the world to pull up on Nintendo .

Also the pervy weeb games are on Steam not just the Switch so there are still options around, but I'm curious to see if Microsoft is enough to get those games on their platform as that one of the many ways they can get the japanese demographic on their side and earn the trust of those developers and publishers.

Did you ever use any third party chargers or anything? From what I'm seeing online you wanna get an ANKER brand portable battery that's Switch compatible (their website will tell you whether it is)

Quake was also demonic as well.

I let my son play Switch sometimes.

I think the only game really bad he will be exposed to is that dead or Alive beach game but he probably won't play that shyt.

I don't want him seeing no demonic shyt that's why I ain't buying Doom.

It's weird now that I'm a parent I gotta think twice.

But then that dead or Alive game might turn kids into pervs too so can't let him play that when I get it.

If you're a casual shyt is a must. Between Zelda, Xenoblade and Smash I played my switch more than my ps4 and xbox combined this year. And I'm pretty much only about to be playing smash next year.
