I finally started playing Mario Odyssey and just can’t get into its boring as fukk way too simple. I could even go back and play Super Mario World and enjoy it cause of the game mechanics this shyt is lame. I know it’s a kids game but a lotta dudes on here were saying it’s a great game.

it is a great game. The game is like 5 hours long and the post game levels especially the final final one are real good.

the cappy mechanic is real fun to use.

The thing about the game Nintendo made it seem like is that it's open like 64 and Sunshine when it's not. It's Linear like Galaxy.

Anyone else not like playing the switch in portable mode? I just don't care for it to be played that way. If it had a bigger screen and higerh resolution id play it portably a lot more. It is convenient to play while at work or in bed, but most of the time I'd rather do something else, thus rendering those features redundant

How far are you into it?

There's more than a few instances in the game where you have to have your sticks up. Precise timing, double jumping, wall jumping all in the mix. Imo it's picks up at the darkside of the moon where you go through the gamut of bosses.

I agree that what seemed to me like the easiest of the moons, maybe the first 300 or so are far too easy and basically walking into a level and grabbing easy moons isn't fun and is a turn off, then the next 300 are like unnecessarily hidden then the final probably require some skill (having your sticks up) or maybe a combo of easy or unnecessarily hidden.

I think the transition from 3d to 2d is flawless and done appropriately. It's not like they just threw a bunch of 2d areas in for the sake of being 2d and to extend a world or levels.

It could be more difficult. I wish it was. I wish the world's became more difficult post game like Mario 1 where the enemies are tougher. That being said I wish it were easier for little kids with assist mode. It's in a weird place where it's not easy enough but it's also not hard enough. But once it's finished there is that general feeling of accomplishment. Not enough to continue to play through with different outfits but when I beat it I didn't feel like I wasted my time.

I wish I had more TV time. Once I get a second dock I'll probably get more but for now as a day one owner when it comes to playing on a TV or handheld I go handheld. Whether I'm sitting at a table with the procontroller or holding the switch with the joycons attached.

Could be I’m coming from a hundred hours of Zelda in the past month guaranteed that I’d have liked it better had I started with Mario. I just got the feeling that I’m old now haven’t played Mario since 64 haha

You'll be good. There plenty of great gaming fun to have . I was a little apprehensive at that point but there's plenty of cool world's and shyt before you can write it off.

If you haven't picked up a Switch yet, Target will have Switch + MK8 during Black Friday. Not sure if Nintendo will be doing that at all major retailers or switching up for different places.

Man YS III Legend of Dana is SO fukkING FIRE!

So glad i bought this. Battle system nearly as deep as Xenogears but WAY BETTER because you're actually fighting.

Just wish the control were a bit tighter.

Jesus the games cost too much on the Switch when I'm not sure why. WHY are old ports of games that are like $10 on PS4 $60 on Switch? Bayonetta 1/2, Donkey Kong, Doom, DBZ etc do NOT need to cost no damn $60 right now.
Can you whip out your PS4 on an international flight at 40,000ft in COACH?

Thats why.

Stop acting dense.
