The good thing about ports and virtual consoles is that people get a chance to play classics. I.e super metroid, Mario rpg, windwaker hd, bayonetta. But like @42 Monks is saying you can't bank your future on ports and virtual console / classics. You gotta bring new shyt, hell you gotta try new shyt on a big scale and fail. I'm not talking eshop small developer creations. But real games.

That's why im hoping Retro spent the last 4 years making a new IP. Even though we know damn well that they're making a 3D open world Donkey Kong game.

there is actually no word of that. but I'm sure it will happen. I never got it on Wii U, so it's gonna be awesome if it hits Switch. Would definitely need to get a stylus for it, if the game doesn't come with one.

Saw someone happy about the skus showing 59.99 for those games, only for someone to tell him that's the normal price for a game. I knew he had to be Canadian, and felt bad for dude.

Bandai has me shook right now with their support for Switch. Metroid 4 could ACTUALLY possibly come out this year.

New kids get born everyday, new kids become teenagers everyday.

Everyday is someone's introduction to video games.

If their first system is switch, having classics ported becomes their introduction to that franchise. It's not always about those of us that've been playing since the 90s

And for me my gamer timeline has gaps so I got a LOT of catching up to do lol...
