Nintendo really is re-releasing old Wii U games on the Switch. Donkey Kong, Captain Toad, and Hyrule Heroes all come out in the next few months.

I already have them for the Wii U, but, I’ll probably buy again for the switch. :manny:

Nintendo is really acting like the Wii U didn’t exist. Once they re-release Smash and SM3DW, there is absolutely no reason to have a Wii U.
Honestly feels like they developed the switch alongside the wii u but couldnt get the switch out affordable yet so was like “fukk it..heres a system”

To me the definitive Wii U game is still Mario Maker. Until they drop Mario Maker 2, some Wii U's will remain active

I'm pretty sure you can make all the games from 1-2 switch using the toycon garage

I can already see making some games like quick draw, or a digital gun range. Being able to program and modify inputs and outputs puts Labo in another world. It's not just playing with cardboard, it's programming.

You can definitely make some music with this. Instacop.

So the Switch exploit was released and its shorting two pins on one of the joycon ports. Hardware level and can’t be patched on Switch systems already in the wild. Expect a hardware revision of the Switch to correct this. In a year or so my still unopened second Switch will be worth a lot.

Nintendo was so stupid. They used a stock chip from Nvidia and all the hackers did was look up Nvidia’s own documentation on how to bust it wide open. Yet these fools won’t let me backup my saves...

My job is sending me to Mexico for 2 days next week.
Thinking of picking up Skyrim and Doom for the flight.
I was also thinking about picking up one of those portable batteries that charges the Switch on the go.

I already have:
Mario Odyssey
Mario Kart
Zelda
Arms
Tetris
Fast RMX
I Am Setsuna
The Binding Of Isaac
Metal Slug
Mario + Rabbids
Stardew Valley
NBA Playgrounds
Bayonetta 1/2

I'm sort of glad this happened, Nintendo is getting real comfortable with their current situation.

- Eshop needs work ( To many mobile ports and not enough games that support online multiplayer. Lack of any sort of organization within the ESHOP)
- No backups or online saves
- Basic features such as messaging and video applications don't exist.
- Virtual console missing in action
- Delayed rollout of online features
- Re-releasing Wii U games to fill in the voids..

Hopefully this will get them to get serious about these features before hackers provide it to us for free lol.

I guess we will see a software version soon for the lazy people?
i call it a inside job. Nintendo does not care about Piracy because they are from Japan. This is good for them because they will sell more units.
I personally do not mind buying a Switch but then again, what is the point if the emulator is already making huge progress.
either way, enjoy the fun comes with. end of the day, these devices are like bondage - you will ruin your life and you will waste your time on planet earth.

You have to short two pins. Puts the processor in a mode where anything goes. You can buy a plastic cover that does it or do it yourself. The plastic cover with metal pins in it isn't permanent doing it yourself likely is.

The software to take advantage of this isn't released yet.

Sounds like Nintendo was either lazy or just does not simply care about the Switch getting hacked.

After all, these are just electronics aka computer chips that are easy to manipulate. I am pretty sure this hack was probably well known to DEVS who like hack electronics but just recently publicly shared.

I personally do not care about Emulation but It would nice to see IPTV or Kodi addons for this.

Legal back ups or pirated games would be awesome and the ideal feature from this outcome. not too sure how many games they have released but i think it would be awesome to have 100+ games all on one SD card and play them whenever you want without switching carts.
