:jbhmm: this is wishful thinking but I feel like DQXI might get announced at E3 for Switch. I'm putting far off clues together.

1 SE won't shut up about why the Switch version is ways off.
2 they wanted to gain a new gen of fans for the series knew full well many people wanted the 3DS version, yet still didn't bother to localize that one.
3 Nintendo may have told SE not to mention a release date so they can beef up their E3 presentation.

:mjcry: I'm reaching, I know

I still can't believe we haven't seen anything about DQXI on Switch, it was the very first game ever announced for it.:mindblown:

Meanwhile, Sega just showed footage of Valkyria Chronicles 4 on the Switch and it was announced not that long ago.

crazy that people are going to buy the piano/keyboard and guitar instead of real ones.

How is it crazy? My family kids that play with the switch already play instruments and would love to play with them on switch.

It's no different than making music on Mario paint , guitar hero, rock band, rocksmith, FL studios...you use music to learn rhythm and you use the games to help you explore different instruments and different music.

I was surprised they actually have the legit keys and notes for the piano, and the guitar. The korg software is coming out for switch too.

It's a skill that'll translate outside of the switch.

it's like going in a circle. The switch does lots of other things, but its just funny that there's somebody out there that'll might buy the switch for the piano/guitar stuff.

It's one of those things .games make learning fun. My friend tried GarageBand for Mac when we were in like 9th grade. It took him less than 5 minutes to pick out 3-5 instruments, play some notes and hit play and hear what he created playback. That fool went to school for music production and engineering. That was a kid who never took any music lessons growing up. He just tried something that made it fun and now it's what he does for a living .
